Future of contact sports The players will not be on the pitch but sat down at the luxury stadium wearing a team jersey, headset, and controllers. Each player has an avatar that will take the field as life-like holograms that everyone in the stadium will be able to see. The leagues will be worldwide with a lower barrier to entry as the away team will watch in their stadium where the away players will play also in their own stadium. Players will be projected to the field where fans will be seated as close as possible to the action, games will not have breaks for adverts as these will be shown where natural gaps exist via augmented reality ads. Breaks will be longer to allow for washroom breaks, buying of merchandise, and food ordering. Due to no contact, the age limit is lowered to sixteen. Revenue will also be obtained vis heavy social media coverage of all the individual players where due to AI and ML a tailored 'human' response will always be at hand.
